Contextual Design Concept for Typhoo Tea

 

Typhoo is a well-established tea brand focusing on delivering relaxation to the customer and offering an escape from the stress faced in daily life. Aimed at the elderly generation, the user can bring the portable device along, when going on an exotic holiday or for a simple walk in nature. The sounds created in the environment are a major aspect intensifying the experience. The device is placed on an open surface, recording all sounds produced with the integrated high-sensitive microphones. Once at home, the device is placed in the docking station, outputting each individual sound at superb quality allowing the user to only combine the sounds that were especially pleasing and remove unwanted elements such as automobiles or airplanes in the background.
